:be AG: Project in Berlin receives DGNB's highest award

HOWOGE Wohnungsbaugesellschaft mbH has been awarded the "DGNB Platinum Certificate for Sustainable Office and Administration Buildings" by the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB). The office part of the "Quartier am Rathauspark" was certified. This is a high-rise office building at Stefan-Heym-Platz 1 (18 floors) including the building blocks with offices along Möllendorfstraße 2 (5 floors) and Frankfurter Allee 129 (7 floors) with a total of 13,650 m2 of office space.


Baumschlager Eberle Architekten won the competition in 2017 and accompanied the project in work phases 1-5, with completion in spring 2021. The general contractor for the residential and office quarter was the PORR Berlin branch, which, in cooperation with pde Integrale Planung GmbH and Baumschlager Eberle Architekten, realized the client's ideas.
